I am announcing that I have now posted a CA TPEs Domain 7 Literacy Study Guide for accessing modules to guide future and current educators to the pedagogical knowledge base for literacy education for multilingual learners. Access to Study Guide is available through purchase of any of the membership plans for moramodules.com. This includes membership in the Limited Plan or Full Access Plan as well as the Spanish Language Pedagogy Book Companion Website.

Here is a link to a PDF of so that teacher candidates and teacher education faculty can review the contents of the CA Literacy TPEs Study Guide.  This Study Guide replaces the Reading Instruction Competency Assessment RICA Study Guide because the RICA exam is now defunct as a result of legislation under SB 1263 Teacher Credentialing bill (Newman). This legislation reaffirmed and updated the TPA system for California’s teaching credential candidates with an emphasis on literacy assessment and teacher credentialing program accountability.
